Welcome to Reelm. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Reelm application ("App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Reelm is a series and movie tracking application that allows users to:
- Track TV shows and movies, mark watched episodes and films
- Rate content with emoji ratings
- Receive notifications for new episodes
- Create and manage a personal watchlist
- Share lists with friends via My Crew (Premium feature)
- Schedule viewing times (Premium feature)
3. User Accounts
The App uses your Apple ID and iCloud for data synchronization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Apple ID credentials. We do not create or manage separate user accounts.
4. Premium Features and Purchases
Reelm offers a free version with basic features and a Premium version with additional functionality.
- Premium features are available through a one-time in-app purchase of $4.99 USD
- All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
- Purchases are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies
- Premium features are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on other devices
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Circumvent any security features of the App
- Use the App in any way that could damage or overburden our services
- Share or distribute the App through unauthorized channels
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. TV show information, images, and metadata are provided by third-party databases and remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Third-Party Content
The App displays information about TV series and movies obtained from The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. All TV show and movie data, images, and metadata are provided by TMDB and remain the property of their respective owners.
We strive to provide accurate information but do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this content. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in third-party content.
8. Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. The App stores your viewing data locally on your device and syncs it via iCloud. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or missed episode notifications.
11. Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Apple-Specific Terms
These terms are between you and the developer of Reelm, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if applicable). Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.
